I really feel for you. What a terrible happening to a great person that you are. Who said life is fair?! My son suffered a bad physical eyesight and hearing problem from an auto accident at age 8 years.
I was able to have a specialist transplant a bone into my son's ear and another specialist transplant mussels on his my son's eyeball. He is now 30 and is on his way to becoming a minister. He says, that his crutch in life, has made him strong and believes that it was merrily a test for him to achieve bigger rewards as a Christian.
I had told him after the accident that I would have traded places with his injury, but he never believed that I truly meant it! He did trade his negative happening for a positive outlook and for that he has my deepest admiration.
BTW: WD, even though I have never met you, I have been reading this forum for many years and I do remember all of the help and inspiration you have given to us. I even feel, as though my intuition can read in-between the lines, as to what kind of person you are.
My best wishes for your future, signed David Kachelmeier
